I’ve always had this soft spot for Moleskine because their notebooks remind me of scribbling ideas in cafés and feeling weirdly inspired. So I guess I expected the site to give me a bit of that same feeling. It does look clean and polished, but it also feels kind of plain and a little dull. I found myself browsing without much excitement, which was a bit disappointing.

I’ve been using my moleskine notebook for journaling and jotting down quick work notes, it’s just really pleasant to write in. The paper feels smooth, my pen doesn’t scratch or drag, and the cover has held up well even after being tossed in my bag every day. It’s definitely not the cheapest notebook out there, but in my opinion the quality makes it worth the price since I actually reach for it daily. Ordering from the site was simple too, which was a nice bonus

I went in thinking I was about to enter the grand palace of Moleskine, and to be fair, the site does have the essentials: planners, classic notebooks, a few bags, the usual suspects. Browsing was easy, and nothing felt confusing or hard to find.
But then came the tiny heartbreaks. I’d click on a notebook, get my hopes up, and then realize the color or size I wanted was missing or out of stock. The dotted pages were especially tragic, like they vanished right when I needed them most.
So overall, not a disaster by any means. I did end up buying a notebook, and I’m sure I’ll like it, but I expected the official site to feel a lot more stocked and exciting. Decent experience, just a little more limited than I hoped.

I picked up a Moleskine notebook mostly for daily notes, random lists, and the occasional idea I’m convinced I’ll totally remember later but absolutely won’t. The paper feels really nice to write on — smooth without being weirdly slick, and my pen doesn’t scratch or skip across the page. Ink seems to dry quickly too, which is good because I’m impatient and also the kind of person who somehow smudges things even when I’m trying not to. Anyway, it just makes writing feel a little more enjoyable, like using a decent mug for coffee. I’d definitely buy another one.

I figured this planner would be easy to use right away, i was right. It helps me map out my days without overthinking everything, and now my week feels way more sorted.

I had a small issue with my order, so I emailed customer service, though I was half-expecting it to turn into a hassle. To my surprise, they replied quickly and fixed it without making me jump through hoops. I’m still a little suspicious when things go that smoothly, but it was genuinely a nice, easy experience. I’d order again...

I’ve dragged this cover around and tossed it in and out of the car a bunch of times, and it’s still doing fine. i kind of expected it to fall apart sooner based on how some covers are made, but this one hasn’t given me any issues yet.

My package ended up arriving later than I thought it would, and I didn’t really get any updates along the way. I don’t mind waiting a bit, but it would’ve been reassuring to know what was going on or at least get a clearer delivery estimate...

and I do really like the paper quality and the overall design, but for the price I expected a bit more. Shipping was totally fine, no issues there, I’m just not sure it’s the best value for me right now.

I’ve been using this with my pens and it works really well. No bleed-through so far, which is exactly what I was hoping for.
